Please be aware that packages take 1-2 weeks to ship and all packages ship with USPS Priority shipping. I always aim to ship packages once a week, but sometimes life happens. Like my son not sleeping because he’s teething or sick, which means that this herbal mama is focusing all in on her family during those times. I’m human, and these products are handmade by a human with real love and care.

Due to the nature of our products, Kith & Kin does not allow returns or refunds unless an item is defective or we have made a mistake. If the mistake is on our end, please email us with a photo within 14 days of purchase at Kithandkinherbs@gmail.com and we will make it right.
Please note, we are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or broken orders. Priority insurance through USPS covers $50 of mistakes made on their behalf and additional insurance can be added to any order.
To file an insurance claim, go to USPS.com and enter your tracking number. You must have a photo of any damage to the box and a photo that shows the shipping label for proof. -
A tincture is a concentrated liquid herbal extract made by soaking herbs in alcohol (or sometimes a mix of alcohol and water) to draw out the plant’s active compounds. This creates a potent, shelf-stable remedy that’s easy to take. Usually by mouth using a dropper.
It’s the same idea as vanilla extract. A little goes a long way because it’s concentrated.
Tinctures are one of the oldest and most effective ways to work with herbs. Because they’re quickly absorbed into the bloodstream, they can offer fast-acting support.
All of our tinctures are made in small batches. We formulate each one with care and intention, rooted in both tradition and evidence-based herbal practice.

A salve is a soft balm made by infusing healing herbs into oil, then blending that oil with natural wax (like beeswax) to thicken it. The result is a smooth, spreadable preparation that’s applied directly to the skin for support with things like dryness, irritation, muscle aches, cuts, or bruises.
There are many ways to make a salve, and like all of our remedies at Kith & Kin, we choose the slow way. Our herbal oils are slowly solar infused for a minimum of 30 days, usually longer, letting the sunshine warm the oil and merge with the herbs.
Salves are a traditional way to deliver the benefits of herbs right where they’re needed. They’re gentle, nourishing, and deeply grounding.
All of our salves are handmade in small batches using high-quality herbs, organic oils, and unfiltered, organic beeswax. We don’t use synthetic fragrances, dyes, or petroleum products - just plant medicine and intention.

We grow as many of our own herbs as possible to keep it close to home.
If homegrown isn’t available we responsibly wildcraft in our region of San Bernardino County, CA.
The next source is to reach out to trusted, organic growers local to us that we have direct relationship with.
The final source is to purchase from trusted, organic sources that are a bit farther away but have high quality practices and a great respect for the plants.
